Search to find the night-time door knocker disturbing residents of York street

A search is underway to find the late-night door knocker who’s been disturbing residents of a York street.

Police are investigating repeated incidents of a man aged around 20 who’s been knocking on doors in the Maple Avenue area of Bishopthorpe.

North Yorkshire Police said: “We are appealing to anyone who may know any further details about this male so that the appropriate action can be taken and to prevent any further impact to those affected.”
