Police want to talk to him after an incident on a York to Leeds bus.
It happened on at around 4.30pm on Friday 31 January.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man struck up a conversation with a passenger and began making inappropriate comments.
“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as they he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
