A York shop is leaving the city centre after ten years.
D Frames on Clifford Street is relocating at the end of its lease.
Owner Dee Weaver said she had taken the decision “with a heavy heart”.
In a note posted in the shop window and on Facebook, she explained the decision.
“After ten years in the city centre it is with a heavy heart, we will be no longer here,” Dee wrote.
“Our lease was coming to an end and we cannot find a store at a reasonable price within the city centre. We have taken the decision to keep on going and to move out of the city centre.
“This will help us keep our costs down and keep offering you our service and framing at reasonable prices.”
D Frames is moving to 79 Front Street in Acomb, opposite the library.

Its last day on Clifford Street is Saturday, 22 March, with the Acomb shop aiming to open by the end of March.
Dee writes: “As you aware we are a small independent family business and would like to thank all our customers for there support over the years and look forward to seeing you in Acomb where you can drive/ park nearby or cycle.”
The store is now having a stock clearance before the move.
It is the second framing business to move out of town.
FastFrame traded in the city centre from 1987 till last November – when it moved to Boroughbridge Road.
Owner Andy Eccles said it was due to the increasing cost of overheads.
