Police investigating a series of stalking incidents in York have made an arrest.
Officers said a man had “repeatedly made inappropriate approaches” at an address in the city.
And they shared a series of images of someone they wanted to talk to as part of their enquiries.
This evening (Monday) North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Earlier today we issued a CCTV appeal in relation to a series of stalking incidents in York.
“From information that we have received following the appeal, this afternoon we identified and located a man who matches the description.
“A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of stalking and is currently in police custody.
“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
