Police have issued an update about the ‘cannabis house’ discovered in York.
Officers carrying out a drugs raid uncovered cannabis growing in every room of a house in Chapelfields two weeks ago.
There was no furniture in the house to make way for the drugs operation.
Officers ‘invited’ anyone who wanted to claim ownership of the plants to get in touch.
Police have now revealed that they arrested two male suspects in connection with the cannabis grow on Saturday.
They were taken to Fulford Road police station for questioning.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Police officers searched their home addresses and discovered further amounts of cannabis, suspected Class A drugs and a substantial amount of cash.
“The males were later released on bail while we conduct some further enquiries.”
