A York pub has reopened to reveal a brand new look and the launch of a new food and drinks menu.
Keystones on Monkgate closed at the beginning of January for three weeks of renovations.
Owners the Stonegate Group have spent a ‘six-figure investment’ to undertake a full decoration, a transformed bar area, new booth seating and new menu.
And it’s a win for sports fans, as all the major events will be shown on the venue’s TV screens, including Premier League football, NFL, rugby, boxing, and Formula 1.
The new menu will feature cheesy Detroit pizzas, and the drinks offer will see the addition of Rumbungo and Coco Paloma.
Tayla James, general manager of the Keystones, said: “These renovations align with Stonegate Group’s commitment to keep improving and innovating, meaning we can give our guests the best possible experience at our pub.
“We believe this investment will make us the best night out in York, and not only for enjoying the best sporting action on our big screens, but also for enjoying delicious food and drink at great prices.
“Our new food and drinks menu means we now have an unmatched selection of world beers, ciders, and cocktails, which I believe is the best offering in the area – and just wait until you see our new Detroit Pizza range.”
The pub offers a variety of food and drink deals throughout the week, such as its 2-for-1 cocktail offer available all week, and bottomless brunch at the weekend.
Events at Keystones include local live acts and DJs, speed quizzing, and monthly karaoke.
