Emergency services were called to a crash on York outer ring road this morning (Saturday).
At happened on the A1237 between Woodthorpe and Knapton near Askham Bryan.
A fire crew was called to the scene at 6.29am.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew were mobilised to a report of a multiple vehicle road traffic collision.
“Crews isolated battery of electric vehicle and made the scene safe.”
The road was congested for at least two hours after the crash. We have no details as to whether there were any casualties.
