Emergency services went to a serious crash on the A19 north of York this morning.
It’s was near to Bagby, and happened at 8.55am today (Saturday).
The road was closed for more than ten hours but reopened at 7.20pm. An update on the crash is below.

Earlier, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “This section of the A19 is expected to be closed in both directions for several hours.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to follow the diversions around the scene.
“We will let you know when the road reopens.”
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has also been called to the scene.
Police asked any witnesses to the crash or those with relevant dashcam footage to call them on 101 quoting reference NYP-11012025-0112.
