It’s almost the weekend!

With over 100 UK and international sellers taking part in the fair, this is a great way to start the new year. Held at the York Racecourse, the spacious venue provides the perfect backdrop to get lost amongst shelves of books and boxes of maps, postcards, prints and more. Millie Wright’s Children’s Charity Fundraiser
Millie Wright’s Children’s Charity is committed to addressing inequalities in hands-on charitable support for families looking after children with life threatening conditions. Based at LGI, they are working towards providing practical and emotional support to parents and carers via Family Support Workers.
In support of this incredibly valuable work The Crescent have two local acts to get you singing and dancing all night. There will also be delicious pizzas available on the night from Curious Pizza Company and a raffle of amazing prizes. All profits going to Millie Wright’s Children’s Charity.

Victor Engine Run at Yorkshire Air Museum
As with our Nimrod anti-det (anti-deterioration) run last month, the engines of the Victor will be run-up on January 11th. It’s a normal Museum day, meaning no special tickets needed and return tickets are valid (if still in-date and signed). The run will take place after lunch.
