Fancy dining with stars of the dance world – in a truly unique location?
Following the success of York Theatre Royal’s Dinners on Stage fundraiser last year, it returns for two more unforgettable evenings of entertainment.
Special guests will include ballet legend Carlos Acosta and award-winning choreographer Ben Duke on Tuesday 4 February, and renowned choreographer and director Christopher Marney on Wednesday 5 February.
Guests will get a glass of champagne and a delicious three course meal, prepared and served by local caterers Pastelle Kitchen & Events, with a range of specially selected wines.
There will also be a programme of entertainment throughout the evening, as well as a raffle and auction.
The two special events will be raising vital funds to support York Theatre Royal’s community engagement work.
Vicky Biles, director of communications and development said, “Dance is such an important part of our programme and we are delighted to welcome special guests who have contributed so much to that world to join us on these two unique evenings.
“This is a very special opportunity to support your local theatre whilst also enjoying a memorable night of delicious food and entertainment.
“As a charity, we rely on fundraising initiatives like this to enable us to continue to do work in the local community and to put on a diverse programme of events for all to enjoy.”
York Theatre Royal have a range of year-round projects for young people including Youth Theatre and Access All Areas. The theatre also works with schools, and has partnerships with other charities through the Pay It Forward ticket scheme.
