A fine dining restaurant ten miles north of York is up for a top award – just four months after opening.
Chartwell, at the Aldwark Manor Estate, has been shortlisted for the Best Boutique Hotel Restaurant Award at the Boutique Hotelier Awards.
It opened at the hotel near Easingwold in May this year.
Since then, Chartwell has been growing its reputation for culinary experience, elegant ambience and memorable dining experience for both hotel guests and visitors alike.
The Boutique Hotelier Awards honour the finest hotels, most innovative products and standout individuals who have made significant contributions to the hospitality industry.
The award ceremony will take place on 15 October at the luxurious Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.
“We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award,” said Andrew Mackay, general manager at Aldwark Manor Estate.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented culinary team at Chartwell and we’re thrilled to already be shortlisted for a top accolade so soon after opening.
“Chartwell is up against some well-established, big names in the restaurant and hotel world. As the only hotel restaurant in Yorkshire to be shortlisted, we’re looking forward to flying the flag for our wonderful county and look forward to the event in October.”
Winners will be determined by votes from across the hospitality community and the public. You can cast your vote for Chartwell here – voting closes on 9 October.
