York passengers are being warned that trains travelling south on the East Coast Main Line are suffering delays this morning (Friday).
The theft of signalling cable in the Doncaster area is causing the problem.
It is disrupting services between York / Selby and Doncaster.
LNER, CrossCountry, Grand Central and Hull Trains services are affected.
National Rail says: “Services will have to run at a reduced speed and as a result may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.”
Disruption is expected until 1pm.
