A teenager assaulted a woman and tried to steal her handbag on a street in Holgate, York.
It happened on Lynden Way between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday 12 July.
Police are appealing to businesses and residents to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras in the hope they may have captured footage of the suspect.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We appreciate several weeks have passed since then but the victim did not feel able to report the incident immediately.
“We want to trace the suspect described as late teens, dressed in black with white trainers, shot in height and of slim build.
“We’re appealing to local people who have CCTV or doorbell cameras in the area to check their footage at the time of the incident for any images that may show the suspect on camera.
“Anyone who may recall seeing the incident is also asked to get in touch.”
