If you love Bridgerton, you can get that little bit closer to the action at Castle Howard this summer.
As part of a packed programme of summer events, the stately home has two activities inspired by the Netflix blockbuster.
On Sunday 23 June, there’s a Bridgerton Filming Locations Guided Tour.
Visitor attraction director Abbi Ollive will lead a tour of the key filming locations, which became the Duke of Hasting’s ancestral home Clyvedon Castle in Season 1.
These include Castle Howard’s Great Hall, private bedrooms, and follies. Abbi will explain what it takes to manage film projects from a visitor attraction point of view, from scouting locations to taking care of the actors and crew within our heritage setting.
The cost of the tour is £50.

On the same day, Sunday 23 June, there’s Sounds of Bridgerton in the Boar Garden.
A Castle Howard spokesperson said: “Prepare to be swept off your feet with melodies from the Bridgerton soundtrack performed by the Ebor Quartet.
“Capture timeless memories with our Bridgerton-inspired photo booth where you can dress in your finest Regency attire and strike a pose worthy of the ton.
“Explore the Gardens and House and spot the settings and backdrops where the newly wedded Duke and Duchess made their home together.”
The musical performances are in the Boar Garden at 11.30am and 2pm, and are included in your ticket.
Other summer highlights include:
- Father’s Day Classic Car Show, this Sunday (16 June) – featuring more than 500 vintage and classic cars and motorcycles
- this exhibition by internationally renowned artist Sir Tony Cragg
- Outdoor Adventure Cinema from 25-28 July, with films including The Greatest Showman, Finding Nemo, Dirty Dancing and a Frozen Sing-A-Long.
