Forage York are launching a series of brand new events – including live music, cheese tastings, and cocktail masterclasses.
The bar and restaurant on Little Stonegate reopened last year, after it had a ‘nightmare’ sudden closure. It was bought by Tokyo Industries – and is aiming to be bigger and better than ever.
Now with a whole host of new events happening at Forage, the team are keen to share their rebrand with the people of York.

“Forage is back with a new vision,” Jack Vanston told YorkMix. Jack is the business development manager for Forage, as well as Impossible York and Impossible Pink Motel.
“We’ve kept the same management team, the same head chef. We’ve just reopened under a different brand which is Tokyo Industries.
“We want to invite York residents back in and showcase what we can offer.”
The team have launched a series of new events – including ‘Forest Live’, which is live entertainment with acoustic vibes, happening on Friday nights.
Forage have partnered with The Cheese Trader to bring ‘Wine and Cheese Nights’, on the last Wednesday of each month up in the secret Speakeasy bar – which can also be booked for bespoke cocktails.
Also launching at The Speakeasy are cocktail masterclasses, which are perfect for parties or having a fun night with friends or family.
They’ve also launched industry nights on Thursdays, an exclusive 30% offer across food and drink for industry people – contact Jack at [email protected] to find out more.
Forthcoming is a pottery class, which is yet to launch, but will take place in the courtyard area at Forage.
