A crash closed a busy York road this afternoon (Wednesday, 28 February).
It was on Huntington Road in Huntington, close to the York Cats Protection adoption centre.
Police, fire and ambulance crews went to the scene. The road has now reopened.

North Yorkshire Police posted on X at 4.24pm: “We are currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision on Huntington Road in York.
“The road is closed in both directions and diversions are in place so please avoid the area whilst emergency services respond.
“Thank you for your help.”
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said they were called out at 3.40pm: “A crew from York and Acomb responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision.
“Crews removed the door of a vehicle to support the driver out of the vehicle and into the care of paramedics.”
