A thief has got away with a huge haul of goods after breaking into Boots in Selby.
It happened between 4.09am and 4.37am yesterday (Saturday) at the Market Place shop.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A suspect has broken in through the rear door off James Street via smashing the glass in the door and squeezing through the door bars.
“Approximately £5,000 worth of goods has been taken from the store, primarily in the form of perfume/ aftershave gift sets.”
The suspect was wearing:
- grey and white trainers
- blue jeans
- a dark coloured hoodie
- and possibly black gloves.
