Fire crews from four stations tackled a blaze in offices in a North Yorkshire village today (Sunday).
Crews from Thirsk, Ripon, Northallerton, and the water bowser from Boroughbridge responded to reports of a fire in Dalton near Thirsk at 1.51pm.
They found the blaze in the office block of an industrial building “measuring approximately 20m by 10m of brick structure”.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras, a positive pressure ventilation fan and small tools to deal with the incident.
“The fire, which originated in the desk area, caused 100% smoke damage to the offices.”
