The latest weather warnings covering York and North Yorkshire have been issued today by the Met Office.
There is a yellow warning for snow and ice covering the whole of the county.
It runs until midday today (Sunday, 3 December).
An additional yellow weather warning for ice has been issued, running from 5pm today till 12pm tomorrow (Monday, 4 December).
“Icy patches are likely to develop this evening and overnight leading to difficult travel conditions,” the Met Office says.
The BBC is forecasting more light snow today with a high of 2°C and a low of -1°C. Tomorrow temperatures will reach a balmy 4°C and rain is forecast.
