North Yorkshire: Sheep injured in dog attack

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after sheep were chased and injured by two dogs near Spennithorne, in the Leyburn area.Intro

It happened in a field next to the traffic light controlled bridge over the railway on the A684 at around 11am on Saturday 18 November 2023

A ram was chased and injured by two terrier type dogs.

Officers are asking for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and in particular, anyone with information about two males who were seen leaving on foot with the dogs.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email [email protected].
