Police have issued a still image of a male they would like to speak to following an incident of theft and assault in York.
A shoplifter assaulted a member of staff at a shop on Dodsworth Avenue, York.
It happened at around 4pm on 5 October.
Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image, as they believe they may have information that could help the investigation.
