How well do we know fairy-tale villains such as Gaston, Mother Gothel, Elphaba, Scar, and Maleficent?
Wicked Origins explores the origin stories of the villains we love to hate in this immersive and family-friendly musical show.
Wicked Origins will take place at QYork, Priory Street, on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November.

Produced by QProductions and performed by a cast of York singers and dancers, the show will take audiences through a storybook journey of exploring whether the villains we have grown up with have actually been wildly misunderstood, or if they are simply just the wicked beings we have been told they are…
There will also be an opportunity to meet and greet with your favourite villains on the abandoned castle set after the show.
“I am so excited for everyone to see what we have been working so hard on,” said director Connie Howcroft. “The cast is absolutely first class and audiences should expect a spectacle of incredible vocalists and dancers and expect the unexpected when it comes to the origins of the villains we all love to hate!
“With meet and greet on set after the show, it is definitely a must for the whole family.”
As well as directing the show, Connie will also be performing in it as a variety of characters – including The Evil Queen from Snow White and Elphaba from Wicked.
Tickets start from £9 and are available via Eventbrite.
