Two robbers stole items from a York shop in front of staff, before one of them attacked the manager.
It happened at Vision Express, Parliament Street, at about 1.15pm on Thursday 7 September.
North Yorkshire Police today issued CCTV images of one man they want to talk to about the robbery.
Two men went into the shop and stole five pairs of sunglasses.
One of the men assaulted the shop manager, who suffered leg injuries in the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in these images as they believe he will have information that will help the investigation:”
