An 87-year-old York man who went missing has been found safe and well.
He left his home in the Badger Hill area on his bike at 2pm on Tuesday.
He was last seen cycling towards the shops at Kimberlow Woods and his family were extremely concerned for him.
Police carried out extensive searches for the missing man.
And at 1.25am on Wednesday morning they issued this welcome update: “The missing 87-year-old York man who was last seen on his bike at 2pm yesterday (Tuesday 17 October 2023) has been located safe and well.
“North Yorkshire Police would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal.”
