A colourful handmade postbox topper created by Blueberry Academy staff and trainees has been stolen, less than a week after being fitted.
Staff member Diane created the topper, helped by trainees from academy, which supports people with learning disabilities.
Posted on their Facebook page last week, Blueberry Pop Up Shop said, “The weather may be dreary but this beautiful addition by our shop brings happiness to all! Why not share a selfie with it if you spot it and tag us!”
However, yesterday (Sunday 8 October, 2023), they shared a sad update that they were “absolutely gutted” about – the postbox topper had been stolen.
Based on Rougier Street, with outlets in York, Selby and Scarborough, Blueberry Academy supports young people and adults with learning differences to progress into independence and employment.
