Two more food and drink destinations are rapidly taking shape in the same part of York.
A team is working to turn a large unit on Spurriergate into the city’s latest Caffe Nero.
The glazing has already been replaced and now work is underway on fitting the interior, previously home to Utopia Womenswear.
The new Caffe Nero is recruiting for staff. Roles available include barista, shift leader and assistant manager, ranging in pay from £10.42 an hour to £10.77 an hour.

Further along, on Coney Street, the Blue Heaven Bar & Grill has its new signage up, and a bar being fitted inside.
Under plans revealed last month, the bar will operate over two floors and include a dining area in the rear courtyard.
Blue Heaven is in a Grade II listed building which dates back to 1600, and that was last occupied by a branch of The Perfume Shop.
