A York road which was left underwater after a major water mains burst is to shut for repairs and resurfacing.
Water Lane will close for more than two weeks for roadway resurfacing works.
It shuts at 8am tomorrow (Tuesday, 29 August) until 5pm on Friday 15 September.
Water Lane was in the news in June when it was closed due to floodwater after a water main burst blowing a hole in the road.
Yorkshire Water engineers worked overnight to repair the main, and it wasn’t until the following day that all the surface water was drained from the street.
Diversion routes will be in place while the resurfacing work takes place. You can see those on the One Network website.
