Firefighters came to the rescue after a baby was accidentally trapped in a car in York this afternoon (Tuesday).
A fire crew was called out to the incident on Stirling Road, Clifton Moor shopping centre, at 2.46pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a four-month-old child that had become locked in a vehicle with the keys inside.
“Crews gained access to the car using a glass punch and reunited the child with their parents.”
