It looks very realistic – but thankfully it’s not human.
Earlier this afternoon (Tuesday), police in Ryedale received a call from a member of the public who had seen what looked very like a real human skull in the beck running alongside the Ropery car park in Pickering .
A Ryedale Police spokesperson said: “We retrieved the skull and I’m very happy to report that it was a concrete model, but as you can see it’s quite realistic!”
The woman who discovered it admitted it wasn’t an “everyday occurrence”, adding: “I’m glad i reported it either way! Just pleased it doesn’t belong to someones loved one!”
