A York girl who went missing last Thursday (22 June) has returned home.
The 15-year-old was last seen at 7.30pm that day in the Marygate area of the city, prompting a police search and appeal.
North Yorkshire Police issued this update on Monday, 26 June: “A missing teenager from York has returned home safely.
“Last week North Yorkshire Police appealed for information about the missing 15-year-old girl.
“She returned home over the weekend.
“Thank you as always to everyone who supported our appeal.”
