The two York girls who went missing overnight have been found safe after police launched an urgent search to find them.
The girls, aged 11 and 12, were last seen together at around 8.30pm yesterday (Monday) in the Germany Beck area of Fulford.
At 9.42am today the force issued this update: “Two York girls who were missing from their homes have been found safe.”
“Thank you to everyone who supported the appeals.”
