Police hope images of ‘criminal’ fly-tipping near York will help them trace the perpetrators.
These pictures show the mess left behind next to Rudcarr Lane, Warthill, east of York.
Chairs, duvets, rugs and even children’s toys were dumped next to the road.

The fly-tipping happened on or around last weekend (3 June).
Ryedale police posted the pictures to assist North Yorkshire Council who are appealing for witnesses to the fly-tipping.
They said: “Fly tipping is a criminal offence. It not only creates an eyesore but the potential for environmental damage is enormous.
“There are several quite distinctive items amongst the waste and the council enforcement officers are asking if any members of the public can either help to identify them or provide any information pertaining to fly tipping in the area.”
