A purpose-built cinema is nearing completion in North Yorkshire.
The four-screen Everyman will soon be open on the Treadmill development in the centre of Northallerton.
It will have 274 seats, fitted with Everyman’s velvet sofas and armchairs “offering customers a high quality and unique experience”.

No date has been set for the spring opening, but when it does the cinema will screen a variety of blockbuster films, documentaries and live screenings.
The Northallerton Everyman, the 39th in the chain, will offer food and drink which can be delivered to your seat by staff.
On the menu are hand-stretched pizzas and small plates, from hot honey halloumi to tempura prawns, as well as a range of vegan dishes.

There’s also a bar offering wine and beer, cocktails and a range of alcohol-free drinks
For those with a sweet tooth, there’s a range of milkshakes, freshly baked cookie dough and the option to build your own sundae.
