Two new stores have opened at a York shopping centre.
York Designer Outlet has just welcomed the luggage and bag retailer Samsonite.
It is found in the South Mall, between Haribo and the 200 Degrees coffee shop.
A designer outlet spokesperson said: “A brand that is always at the forefront of research, development and innovation, this new arrival in the centre offers guests high-quality, classic products, that are loved across the globe.
“This includes everything from fashion accessories for him and her, business items, and casual products for children.”
Samsonite follows on from the opening last week of Havaianas, a flip-flop specialist from Brazil.
Found between the O2 shop and Zwilling, it offers “a huge range of flip flops, sandals, espadrilles and beach accessories – in every colour imaginable”.
The new openings come after YorkMix revealed that the Cath Kidston shop in the centre is closing.
All the remaining handful of Cath Kidston stores are being shut after the brand was bought out of administration by Next.
York Designer Outlet is also having an Easter egg hunt to keep families entertained during the holiday. It runs from tomorrow (Saturday) to Sunday, 16 April.
