One of York’s hi-tech companies is expanding.
Incremental, who are based in the Merchant Exchange on Skeldergate, provides smart technology for the rail and car industries.
Clients include LNER and Network Rail.
It has made two new appointments. Alex Robertson takes the newly created role of business development director.
He has 16 year’s experience in the UK Rail supply chain, and is tasked with expanding Incremental’s offering and customer base in the UK and abroad.
And David Thornton takes the permanent role of finance director.
CEO Daniel Lee-Bursnall said: “As Incremental continue to grow, it’s important that I have a great team to take on more responsibilities, and Alex and David certainly fit that bill.”
Alex said: “It’s an exciting time at Incremental and I can’t wait to get started.
“They are a company I’ve previously admired, and am excited to be joining an established team of passionate and extremely knowledgeable people, with an excellent offering to help improve the railway.”
And David said: “Incremental’s reputation in the market and Dan’s vision for the future were quite compelling to me and I’m pleased to be joining this business. There’s lots of challenges in the rail industry, however Incremental have so many tools in place to help improve it in many areas.”
