Emergency services were called out after youths climbed onto a roof in York city centre last night (Sunday).
Police were called to St Helen’s Square shortly after 10pm after the youths were spotted on a roof there.
Firefighters from York station were also called to the scene.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York were called to assist police with youths who were up on a roof and unable to get down.
“Youths made their way down without fire service assistance.”
