Step into a brave new world – as Spark reveals its extraterrestrial look for winter.
The street food and retail hub have relaunched under the theme ‘A Brave New World’, complete with astronauts and otherworldly creatures…
That’s not all though – as four brand new traders have landed to serve up some out-of-this-world tasty treats.

All week, Spark have been announcing the new traders to the venue via social media.
First to be announced was Vovó Cantina Brasileira – a Brazilian grill kitchen that serves up dishes inspired by Brazil’s family feasts.
One of their dishes includes a ‘Carne Plate’, which is a selection of grilled meats, rice and pickles.
Next up was Bobbin Bagels, which makes hand-rolled, freshly baked bagels with a variety of delicious fillings such as Salt Beef and Chicken Parmo.

Third to be announced was Jimmy Mack’s, who specialise in slow cooked meats.
Since they opened at Spark, they’ve been serving up Oktoberfest themed dishes – so get down while you can as their menu will soon change to a more wintery selection.
Last but not least is independent York-based cafe Inema Caffe. Currently they’re serving up a selection of coffees and teas, but will soon also be offering desserts and coffee cocktails.
Spark:York is located on Piccadilly and is open from 12pm Tuesday to Sunday. Find out more at their website.
