This was the scene after a high speed car crash in Ryedale last night (Saturday).
A car left the road and smashed into a garden in Yedingham north of Malton late in the evening.
It ended up on its side.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Thinking of popping out for a couple of drinks later?
“This is what happened last night in Yedingham when a driver lost control of their vehicle and landed, sideways on, in a garden.
“Fortunately, no one was injured and even the dog that was travelling in the vehicle walked away unscathed.”
They said the driver blew 104 micrograms at the roadside. As the legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, this was nearly three times over the limit.
The police added: “Please don’t let this happen to you. Don’t drink and drive.”
