A woman from York, who has put up Ukrainian Flags in support of the country which has been under attack from Russia for six months, says she’s delighted to have received an anonymous note of thanks.
Justine Spencer came home to find a sticky yellow note, on her door in the city centre, which said Dyakuyu, Ukrainian for thank you.
The message reads “Thank you so much for standing with Ukraine. Dyakuyu, Only all together can we win our freedom and Independence back”
Justine said it was very sweet and she would have loved to have met the person who wrote it as it meant a lot to her.
