Burglars broke into a York house early today, stole a set of car keys and stole the Mini Cooper parked outside.
The break-in happened at about 1am this morning (Tuesday, 23 August) on Duncombe Drive in Strensall.
Three thieves got in through an insecure door and took the car keys from the victim’s handbag before driving off in the red Mini Cooper S.

The three suspects, who are believed to be men, are described as slim and about 5ft 10 in height.
They were wearing grey or dark coloured hooded tops, either face masks or balaclavas and dark coloured jogging/ tracksuit bottoms.
The suspects have then driven away in the direction of Park Gate.
Police are asking for the public’s help with their investigation. They particularly want tohear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at that time or who has CCTV or ring doorbell footage which shows the incident to come forward.
