LNER is joining the York Pride celebrations on Saturday by adding some sparkle at the station.
Rainbow colours will be much in evidence at York Station tomorrow (Saturday, 18 June), where drag artist Miss Ellie Ganza will greet passengers.
A pop-up glitter bar and photobooth are also promised.
Later LNER staff will join the York Pride parade, which begins at York Minster at midday.
Claire Ansley, people and customer experience director at LNER, said: “We are passionate about creating an inclusive workforce where our people feel able to be themselves, and our communities along the LNER route are also very important to us.
“We’re delighted to be supporting Pride, representing our colleagues and customers in the communities we serve.”

Chair of York Pride Greg Stephenson said: “It’s wonderful to see LNER’s commitment to equality and diversity for employees and customers alike.
“We are delighted to be working with LNER. York Pride has grown to become one of the largest free one-day events in the city and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of local employers like LNER.”
