Two motorbikes were stolen from a York city centre street last week.
At least one man damaged and stole two motorcycles from Gillygate between 1.45am and 2.15am last Wednesday (1 June). He walked them from the area.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “One motorcycle has since been recovered, however the other is still outstanding and the identity of the people involved is not yet known.
“Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything around this time, including anyone with private CCTV or doorbell cameras that may have captured the incident or the suspects on camera.”
One suspect is believed to be a white male, aged in his early 20s, who was wearing a light coloured tracksuit at the time.
