A man has been after a car left a trail of damage in York.
The incident began when a white VW Scirocco collided with an ambulance on the A64 at Bilbrough Top at around 4.10pm on Friday (13 May).
North Yorkshire traffic police traced the Scirocco – but it failed to stop.
Officers then pursued the vehicle towards York on Tadcaster Road.
When it reached South Bank, it collided with two parked vehicles on Balmoral Terrace – causing damage to a silver Honda CRV and a VW Golf estate.
The passenger in the Scirocco, a 34-year-old man, left the vehicle on Brunswick Street. He was arrested nearby just before 5pm.
He is wanted in connection with an arson incident in Humberside.
