Fresh from celebrating their sixth birthday at the weekend, Brew York have launched a new set of beers – inspired by the most important meal of the day.
The York brewery and taproom are known for their quirky and unique flavours – and excellent beer title puns – and have previously been inspired by pop culture, desserts and Yorkshire itself.
Now they’re tackling breakfast.
Brew York was founded in 2016 by friends Wayne Smith and Lee Grabham. It was the result of a ‘long-lived dream’ to build a brewery in the heart of York with an on-site tap room.
Collectively called The Breakfast Club, the four breakfast-inspired beers are:
- Juice – a guava, papaya and mango breakfast smoothie sour
- Tea – a strawberries and cream fruit tea IPA
- Toast – a pandan, coconut and coffee ‘kaya toast’ imperial milk stout
- Coffee – a maple mocha iced latte stout
The beers were made in collaboration with breweries across the country and overseas – Vault City Brewing, Full Circle Brew Co, Gweilo Beer, and Siren Craft Brew.
“These beers celebrate the many ways we’ve grown these past 6 years,” Brew York wrote on their Facebook.

“Constantly using and experimenting with exciting ingredients and learning from our peers across the industry we continue to be inspired by.”
The Breakfast Club beers are available in a four-pack box or individually, on Brew York’s webshop.
