The York 10k is set to return later this year – and has announced YorkMix Radio as its radio partner.
The popular event is staged by the not-for-profit sporting events company Run For All and, after a successful partnership in 2021, are once again partnering with YorkMix Radio for the 2022 York 10k.
The York 10k will take place on Sunday 7 August – and offers the unique opportunity to race through the beautiful streets of York.
Erin Jones, marketing and communications manager at Run For All said, “We are delighted to partner with YorkMix once again for the York 10K.
“The York 10K is a hugely popular event, entirely inclusive and we encourage participants of all ages and abilities to take part. We look forward to meeting participants on the start line in August.”
David Green at YorkMix Radio said, “We’re incredibly excited to be a part of this year’s York 10k. Showcasing York and embracing community spirit is exactly what we’re about, so the event couldn’t be a more perfect fit.
“What’s really great is that runners of all abilities are invited to take part which is really good news going by the fitness levels of some of our presenters!”

Whether you’re running just for fun, chasing a personal best, or fundraising for a cause close to your heart – anyone and everyone is encouraged to take part.
If you’re looking for a charity to fundraise for, the event’s partner charities include the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Changing Lives, Macmillan, York Mind, St Leonard’s Hospice, The Island, and York Against Cancer.
