A fight at a seaside casino left three people in hospital with serious injuries, one requiring surgery.
It happened in the rear smoking area of the Opera House Casino on St Thomas Street, Scarborough, at around 5.30am yesterday (Saturday).
Two men aged 50 and 34, and a 19-year-old woman, all from the Scarborough area, required urgent hospital treatment.

Scarborough CID is carrying out enquiries into a reported altercation between the men who have both been arrested in connection with the investigation.
The 50-year-old suffered a serious cut to his face and the 34-year-old required surgery for a significant ear injury.
The woman was not involved in the altercation. She suffered a cut to an arm while standing nearby.
Both men have been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
‘Heated argument’
Officers are urging a mixed group of people, who were near the incident immediately before the alleged assaults, to come forward a soon as possible.
It is believed that some of these individuals were involved in a reported “heated argument” that may have been the catalyst to the violent events that followed.
