High winds in the Peterborough area have caused damage to power lines leading to long delays for travellers on the East Coast Main Line.
LNER issued a Please DO NOT TRAVEL request earlier.
While lines have now reopened there are still a lot of trains delayed.
Tickets dated for Sunday will be accepted for travel tomorrow (01 Nov) or may be refunded via point of purchase.

The train operator said on Twitter:
“If you choose to travel tomorrow, please make a new reservation where possible at http://LNER.co.uk/Reserve or on our app. We sincerely apologise if you have been impacted by today’s disruption. Affected customers can claim compensation at http://LNER.co.uk/Delay“
One service to York which left London at 10:29 was due in at 17:21
Hull Trains to Selby and Grand Central to Thirsk have also been affected by the disruption.
Trees have been blown onto the line cutting off power supplies. The same issue is also affecting the West Coast route out of London Euston too.
