A further 65 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Tuesday, 12 October).
That takes the cumulative case total to 23,065 – giving an overall infection rate of 10,930.7 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 547 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 44 (8.7%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 250.2 new cases per 100,000 people (528 cases in the week to 8 October). That’s up from 238.8 in the previous seven days (504 cases in the week to 1 October).
The English national average is 357.2, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 431.1.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and none in the last seven days (as at 12 October).
