An appeal to find a man suffering a serious injury to his hand has been successful.
Police appealed for the public’s help after the 39-year-old man walked out of York Hospital yesterday (Tuesday) at 5pm.
Doctors were seriously concerned about his welfare.

At 12.10pm, North Yorkshire Police said: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find the missing 39-year-old York man who had suffered a hand injury.
“We’re pleased to say he’s been found safe, and we’ll make sure he receives the medical treatment he needs.”
