A new office block is planned behind a York pub.
Plans have been submitted to created a three-storey extension to an existing office building behind the Twine and Barrel pub on Hull Road, Dunnington.
Planning documents state the building would reach a height of 11.8m.

They say: “The space is framed externally by a dramatic fully glazed gable frontage, supported by an exposed timber frame which wraps around the south-western corner of the projecting extension.
“This ensures the newly created main feature is prominent as both vehicular and pedestrian traffic approaching the building.”
Bike storage and electric charging points will be included in the development.
